Drew Vernon
Project ManagerDrew Vernon is the Project Manager for Fix for Addiction. Drew graduated from Cabrini University in 2017 with a major in communication and a minor in marketing. While at Cabrini he was a resident assistant, member of the men’s soccer team, and member of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. Drew has always had a passion for content creation and strategic marketing, before attending college he would work on casual projects for his friends to learn skills such as video production, photography, audio engineering, event planning, public relations and social media marketing. He developed his versatile skillset during his time at Cabrini through interning and doing freelance work. Passion has fueled Drew’s desire to continuously learn and improve.
Jill Nawoyski
Content StrategistJill Nawoyski, content strategist, was a member of the Cabrini University Class of 2017 who found her purpose and passion in the communication wing. During her undergraduate career, she served as the Editor-in-Chief and Co-News Editor for The Loquitur and the Co-Sports Anchor for LOQation Weekly News, while majoring in communication and minoring in marketing. She has a strong love for telling stories that matter through both writing and video editing. She enjoys keeping busy and that meant saying yes to every opportunity that Cabrini gave her. Jill graduated with honors and was a Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges award recipient.
Jaclyn Labes
Marketing ManagerJaclyn is the Marketing Manager and the Research Verifier for Fix for Addiction. She was responsible for creating a marketing plan before and after the premiere and for verifying that all information on the website was accurate. She graduated from Cabrini University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, minor in Accounting and will receive her Master’s degree in Accounting in the Spring of 2018. She was a News Editor for the student-run newspaper, Loquitur Media, that has always had a passion for storytelling. Additionally, she was an Editorial Intern at Main Line Today magazine that wrote stories for both digital and print. Jaclyn also participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and was a member of the honors program at Cabrini.
Brianna Morrell
Web DeveloperBrianna is the Web Developer for Fix for Addiction and graduated from Cabrini University as a communication major in 2017. She was the Engagement director for Cavalier Radio, then eventually worked her way up to being Operations Manager her senior year, where she grew her leadership skills and built relationships she will never forget with her peers. Outside of the classroom, Bri was inducted into the Society of Collegiate Journalists in 2016 and has made Dean’s list multiple times during her college career along with many other accomplishments. Throughout her time at Cabrini, she grew to be a strong communicator and is ready to take on the world with the skills she has gained from college.
Emily Rowan
Art DirectorEmily graduated from Cabrini University with a major in digital communication and social media. Her true passion is photography; you can almost always catch her with a camera in her hands. Her biggest accomplishment at Cabrini was serving as the photo editor for the school’s student-run news outlet, Loquitur Media, for two years. She also enjoyed serving as a teaching assistant for a fine arts photography class and her time as an intern with the campus’ marketing communication department. During her time at Cabrini, Emily was a part of the school’s honors program and was inducted into four national honors societies including: Alpha Lambda Delta, Omicron Delta Kappa, Delta Epsilon Sigma and the Society of Collegiate Journalists. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges award recipient.
Allie Stein
Multimedia Manager and NarratorAllie Stein, multimedia manager and voiceover narrator, was a member of the Cabrini University Class of 2017. Before joining the communication department in the fall of her junior year, Allie was studying to become a teacher. With the discovery of her true passion in communication, she immersed herself in many of the opportunities the department has to offer. She served as a Staff Writer and Assistant Lifestyles Editor for The Loquitur, and the Co-Sports Anchor for LOQation Weekly News. Allie was also very involved within Cabrini’s Athletic Department throughout her undergraduate years. She was a four year member of the swim team and also served as the public address announcer for all of the athletic events held on campus. Allie graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of three National Honors Societies including: Omicron Delta Kappa, Delta Epsilon Sigma and the Society of Collegiate Journalists.
Katie Muska
Copywriter and SEO DirectorKatie graduated from Cabrini University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in communication, with a minor studies in English. She was a member of the Honors Society, the women’s tennis team and the lifeguarding staff. By means of two internships, one with Coastal Events in Atlantic City and the other with Manor College, Katie learned more about the field of marketing communications and the skills that are required for such positions. The many skills that Katie has acquired with her Cabrin education include writing, journalism, social media, video editing and interviewing. With a rewarding course load and two internships on her resume, Katie has learned so much and has has gained irreplaceable opportunities and experiences.
Casey Semenza
Copywriter and SEO DirectorCasey Semenza graduated with honors from Cabrini University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Communication and Social media in 2017. After transferring to Cabrini her sophomore year, Casey knew that she wanted to live with purpose for her last three years. During her time at Cabrini she served as news editor for Cabrini’s newspaper, The Loquitur, was news anchor for the monthly video journalism program, Loqation news, aided her professor as a classroom coach for a social justice course that lobbied for social change in D.C., ensured the safety of Cabrini’s student body as resident assistant for two years, became Vice President for Cabrini’s Society of Collegiate Journalists chapter and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, Cabrini’s national honor society as well as Dean’s list recipient throughout her three years.
Jessica Ferrarelli
Photography & GraphicsJessica Ferrarelli graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in communication from Cabrini University in 2017. Jessica transferred into Cabrini as a junior in 2015 after completing her Associate of Fine Arts degree in photography from the Delaware College of Art and Design. Though she was only at Cabrini for a short time she gained many opportunities in the classroom, internships and extracurriculars. She was a classroom coach for Multimedia Story Creation and Commuter Engagement Intern for the Student Engagement and Leadership Office. One of her biggest achievements is being founder and president of the Cabrini Commuter Crew. Other accomplishments include Omicron Delta Kappa member, Society for Collegiate Journalists member, and President’s List recipient.
Moira Prior
Video ManagerMoira graduated from Cabrini University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication.Throughout her time here at Cabrini, she has discovered her true passion for social justice and storytelling. She served as the executive producer for LOQation News, a staff writer for Loquitur and was a contributing artist for a photo exhibit about food insecurity and homelessness in Norristown, PA. Moira was a 4-year member of the Cabrini Women’s swim team and was named captain her senior year. While balancing extracurricular activities and being a student-athlete, one of her accomplishments was receiving dean’s list. Moira aspires to become a videographer and hopes to continue her passion for this topic by helping out nonprofit’s based around the disease of addiction.
Keith Brown
Video ManagerKeith Brown served as a video manager for Fix For Addiction. He graduated from Cabrini in 2017 with a BA in communication. At Cabrini University, Brown served as Sports Editor for Loquitur Media, the school’s newspaper and media site. He also held various positions such as Package Editor and Package Producer throughout Loqation, Cabrini’s video news station. From Cabrini University, Brown developed a love for photography and video, with a focus on social justice issues and displaying the realities of the common people and those on the margins. Keith likes to take up his freetime with shooting videos/taking pictures of friends, watching/playing sports and discovering and listening to music.
